Appointments boost research and communications at bathrooms association

The trade body for all manufacturing businesses supplying the UK bathroom market has increased its research capacity with a new appointment. 

The Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA) has recruited Jane Blakeborough into the new post of Research Manager.

Jane, above, has wide experience of the Kitchens, Beds and Bathrooms (KBB) sector as the founder and research director since 2004 of Trend-Monitor, specialists in insight management for the UK Home Improvement Industry. 

By joining the association team, she will bring a new capability to deliver more insights more frequently to manufacturer members.  

Also new at the BMA is Lisa Carnwell, who joined at the end of last year as Communications Manager. 

She has a background of more than 20 years in communications, mainly within the trade press.  

“The Bathroom Manufacturers Association has a small but dedicated secretariat team, determined to deliver for our members,” said Chief Executive Tom Reynolds. 

“Jane and Lisa are great additions, providing new research capabilities to the association and the ability to deliver our message effectively.”  

  • Flova UK Ltd, a global manufacturer of brassware, is the latest company to become a full member of the Bathroom Manufacturers Association, which is based in Stoke-on-Trent.
