Company announces expansion and new jobs pledge

A leading supplier of plumbing products and hot water heating systems is expanding following a period of growth. 

Hydronics solutions specialist Altecnic Ltd, based in Stafford, has acquired additional warehouse and distribution premises in the county town. 

The investment will allow Altecnic, which is part of the Caleffi Group, to further increase its stockholding, scale assembly operations and develop a dedicated training centre.   

Located near to Altecnic’s existing Stafford HQ, the new 113,500 sq. ft premises is also close to M6 junction 14. 

Altecnic has pledged the expansion will lead to new jobs and that the company will be looking to hire from the local community.  

Gary Perry, Managing Director at Altecnic, said: “The significant investment by our parent company in these new facilities is testament to Caleffi’s long term commitment to growing its UK footprint and supporting our loyal customer base.  

“We have big plans for the new premises to not only improve the capability of our operations, but as an opportunity to further increase our sustainability.

Established near Stafford in the 1980s, the company supplies over 5,000 products lines to customers throughout the UK, including plumbers, trade merchants, heating engineers and specifiers. 

Products include thermostatic mixing valves, underfloor heating systems and dirt and air separators.
