Businesses in Staffordshire are being urged to seize the chance to influence policy thinking at the highest level.
By completing the Quarterly Economic Survey (QES) conducted by Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce they can get their voice heard with Government departments and the Bank of England.
The deadline for taking part in the survey – which only takes a few minutes to complete – is Wednesday March 8.
“This is one of the most important times for businesses across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire to complete the QES,” said Declan Riddell, Policy Adviser and Stafford Chamber Manager.
“The information that they provide will help to shape and influence current policy thinking as the data is shared with the British Chambers of Commerce, Government departments including HM Treasury and the Bank of England.”
Questions in the three-monthly survey – the UK’s largest independent business questionnaire – aim to identify the key challenges being faced by businesses.
Survey responses help build up a snapshot of what is happening in the local economy.
The QES highlights trends in areas such as the impact of the rising cost of doing business, supply chain issues and recruitment difficulties.
The Bank of England recently acknowledged the value of the survey.
