A North Staffordshire company is celebrating after being reappointed onto the Crown Commercial Services Framework for the supply of Independent Fleet Management Services.

As a result Adept Vehicle Management, based in Chesterton, Newcastle-under-Lyme, is already winning new business.

They begin a new Government procurement contract this month after successfully tendering for work.

Being on the Framework now gives them access to fleets within Central Government and wider public sector organisations with a combined 120,000 car and commercial fleet across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.  Adept were successfully reappointed after previously being awarded the tender in 2019.

The company is jointly owned by industry specialists Mark Pedley and Carl Cumbo who employ a growing team of 20 at their Newcastle-under-Lyme offices.

Adept specialise in:

•             Fleet outsourcing and fleet management

•             Green Fleet Transition Management

•             Car & LCV procurement and funding

•             Daily and short-term rental vehicles and light commercial vehicles

Director Mark Pedley said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be on the framework again. We are one of only ten chosen providers across the UK to have been appointed, so we really feel we’re doing Staffordshire proud! Adept will have access to over 2,200 public sector and commercial fleets.

“We have built a fantastic team here at Adept who work incredibly hard and have that essential ability to go above and beyond with customer service. We positively stand by our branding of ‘The People That Make The Difference’!”

Director Carl Cumbo added: “There’s no doubt that getting reappointed will open many more doors for us including to the health and education sectors, as well as the emergency services.

“We can’t rest on our laurels though, as a team we now need to push forward and win some of the contracts available to help us grow as a business even further. We are confident that as result of being reappointed we will be managing hundreds more vehicles in the next three years.”

Reappointment to the Framework comes off the back of Adept’s rental division, being appointed by the UK’s largest rental provider, Nexus Vehicle Rental, as a key supplier. It means Adept are now supplying vehicles to several high-profile household names. Their owned rental fleet stands at 350 vehicles worth over £6.5 million.
