A specialist food ingredient manufacturer is expanding in the county after securing 77,000 square feet of prime industrial space in Stafford.
FDL has agreed to a 15-year lease on Unit 1 of the Ergo Stafford business park as part of its growth ambitions. The Shackleton Way site is just one mile from Junction 14 of the M6 and other businesses in the surrounding area include iforce, Screwfix, Altecnic, Culina Logistics and Saint-Gobain.
The business park is also close to a range of amenities including a Premier Inn hotel and The Shire Horse and Brewers Fayre pubs.
FDL has been operating for more than 60 years and produces an extensive range of food and beverage products for a global customer base. It has headquarters in London and has bases across the UK, US and China. In Staffordshire, it currently has an operation based on the Newstead Industrial Estate in Stoke-on-Trent.

The deal was secured by Ergo Real Estate on behalf of Aver Property which is a joint venture company set up between Ergo and the insurance provider NFU Mutual.
