Arkrite Fencing is a smash hit with celebrities who use its products to surround the tennis courts at their private mansions.
Set up 50 years ago as a localised supplier, the Cannock business has expanded over the years to supply a wide-ranging clientele.
Fences have been delivered to big names such as Madonna, Wayne Rooney, Andy Murray and comedian John Bishop.
It’s all part of the service at Arkrite whose core business is manufacturing and supplying steel security fencing and gates to contractors.
“We supply ball courts and sports fencing to leisure centres, schools and colleges as well as security fencing,” said Director Julie Jones.
“Today the company has a first-class reputation when it comes to manufacturing and supplying all fencing types throughout the UK and beyond.
“As well as manufacturing fencing, tennis courts and ball courts for many celebrities we have provided hockey pitches for the London Olympics.
“Our fencing is also used by many Premier League football clubs including Aston Villa and Manchester United.”
Arkrite Fencing was launched by three entrepreneurs in 1973.
Founding father Thomas Timmins is remembered for his outstanding commitment to quality and professional service.
His wife and Co-Director Sylvia, daughter Julie and son Craig are carrying on the family business, which is situated on Progress Drive where it first began.
“It will be a very special 50th birthday for the business this year and we will raise a glass to our father,” said Julie.
