A vital route into Stafford will be undergoing a series of major improvements from next week – lasting until mid-May. 

Staffordshire has secured a major funding pot from the Government for local transport projects which will span a seven-year period.

Drivers are being warned to expect delays on the A5121 Derby Road in Burton upon Trent early next month due to roadworks. 

The Government is being asked to support a visionary plan to develop the A50/A500 route into a decarbonised Growth Corridor delivering more than 5,000 jobs.
