1 min read

Over £1 billion worth of Staffordshire-based investment opportunities will be showcased to thousands of people at a UK industry-leading event.

The wide-ranging opportunities will be presented to more than 6,000 delegates at the UK Real Estate Infrastructure and Investment (UKREiiF) Conference next month.

It brings together local and regional public sector organisations with Government, investors, funders, developers, housebuilders and more.

A ‘We Are Staffordshire’ team of councils, universities and developer partners will promote the ‘Staffordshire: A Place to Prosper’ campaign and prospectus.

They will set out why the county is a top location to live, work, invest in and visit.

Potential investors will find out more about major projects including the Stafford Gateway project, regeneration of town centres, Chatterley Valley Enterprise Zone, i54 South Staffordshire, the A50/A500 Growth Corridor and the West Midlands Interchange.

Staffordshire’s delegation includes the county council and all eight district and borough councils, Keele University, Staffordshire University, county council highways partner Amey and development partners Stoford, St Modwen, Nurton Developments and Harworth Group

UKREiiF takes place in Leeds between May 16 and 18. The inaugural event took place last year.

Dan Gallagher, joint managing director of Stoford, said: “We are delighted to be a headline sponsor of UKREiiF 2023.

Our commitment continues Stoford’s significant investment and development of the wider Staffordshire area, following completion of Pets at Home’s new 667,000 sq ft office, storage and distribution centre.”

Attendees of the event will find Staffordshire on stand E22 and a networking reception will be taking place between 4pm and 5pm on both Tuesday May 16 and Wednesday 17May.
