A new state-of-the art hybrid workspace will open in Stoke-on-Trent city centre this summer.
Property group Sandyford Properties has partnered with global coworking pioneers International Workplace Group (IWG) to offer the space at Alexander House, Hanley – a former home of The Sentinel newspaper and Stoke-on-Trent Live.
It comes during a sustained demand for hybrid work now being seen across office-based jobs.
Alexander House is a detached Grade II listed building in the cultural quarter of Hanley but has now been repurposed as a coworking space.
The investment to increase its offering means that the building is now upgraded with new private offices, meeting rooms, coworking environments and creative spaces.
Paul Brindley, Managing Director of Hanley-based Sandyford Properties, said: “This is the second site with which we have collaborated with IWG. Everyone here at Sandyford are impressed with IWG’s industry-leading systems and assets.
“We’re excited now to bring this flexible workspace area to our great city.”
On the partnership, Mark Dixon, CEO and Founder of IWG, added: “We are establishing a stronger and much-needed footprint in Staffordshire with this latest opening.
“It is a proud moment to step into this partnership and we know that our management approach will provide a cutting-edge workspace at Alexander House.”
Sandyford and IWG previously partnered on a site in Chester last year.
IWG has been assigned the operational management of the space.
