A web company from Stafford has picked up an award for work benefitting the local community and the environment.
Red Box Web Design has received the Most Socially-Conscious Web Design Studio 2023 award in the SME News’s Midlands Enterprise Awards.
The firm has worked with local charities such as House of Bread through volunteering, food bank collections and winter clothing donations.
Staff have also helped to fundraise for various causes through sponsored walks and runs. And the company is responsible for planting trees every month in order to contribute to a greener and sustainable future.
Moving offices to the town centre’s Shire Hall Business Centre at the end of last year means energy consumption and transport emissions have been reduced. Staff and customers have better access to public transport and the team has been empowered with greater flexibility meaning customers benefit from extended working hours.
Founder Rob Mackley said: “Winning this is a fantastic achievement for the company and highlights the commitment from the whole team to make a difference to our local community and the wider world.”
