Energy technology company GivEnergy has today announced its expansion into the Australian market.
The battery storage brand believes its solutions will “contribute significantly to the country’s clean energy transition.”
The expansion is the latest phase in a period of growth which has seen the firm invest in new headquarters in Newcastle-under-Lyme and two new manufacturing facilities in Stoke-on-Trent.
The company’s initial focus in Australia will be on its All in One – a 13.5kW battery and inverter in one integrated solution – pending Australian certifications for additional products across the GivEnergy portfolio.
Martin Cobb, who has two decades of experience in the renewable energy sector, has been appointed as Managing Director for GivEnergy Australia.
He said: “Australia presents immense opportunities for renewable energy.
“There is a massive installed base of solar PV systems without accompanying storage batteries across Australia.
“This represents thousands of homes not storing their generation for later use, and so not getting the most from their solar investment. Our GivEnergy All in One is a perfect addition to these systems.
“So, we believe that GivEnergy’s state-of-the-art battery storage solutions will contribute significantly to the country’s clean energy transition.
“Plus, as we enter the Australian market, customers can expect the same exceptional level of service and quality that has made GivEnergy a leading brand in the UK.”
Jason Howlett, GivEnergy Group CEO, pictured above, added: “GivEnergy is on an incredible growth journey.
“We’ve seen tremendous success in the UK and Europe, and we’re excited to bring our products and expertise to the Australian market.
“This Australian expansion is a testament to our dedication to driving a clean energy future.
“We’re now embarking on the next step of bringing sustainable and eco-friendly energy solutions to individuals and businesses worldwide.”
