A Staffordshire aesthetics clinic and spa has scooped a top accolade at an international awards ceremony.

Medi-spa28, based on Eastgate Street in Stafford, was recognised as the Best Aesthetics Clinic Midlands & Wales at the Safety in Beauty International Awards – beating off stiff competition from other specialists in the industry.

The highly-regarded awards event is now in its 10th year and more than 800 guests from all over the world attended the ceremony at The Hilton, Park Lane Hotel, in London.

Medi-spa28 Founder and Director Barbara Pointon said: “We were rightly subjected to the scrutiny of six leading industry experts as well as a public vote; an industry secret shopper and a final panel of three anonymous industry experts.

“We made the final 10 on the short list and are elated to be recognised as category winners.

“This recognition of our dedication in safety and best aesthetic practice, within a largely ‘unregulated industry’, places Staffordshire firmly on the map. We could not be prouder.

“Having recently invested in a Day/Evening Spa as an addition to our now multiple-award winning clinic, this ends 2023 on a high note for us.

“Thank you to our patients, clients and colleagues for their support. This really means a lot to me and my amazing team.”
