Storage solutions specialist Rackline has made a significant move towards reinforcing its commitment to sustainable development and corporate social responsibility with the appointment of Tom Simpson as its new Sales Director.
With extensive experience in business growth across a plethora of industries, Simpson is expected to play a key role in furthering Rackline’s environmental initiatives.
As part of its new CSR Policy, Talke-based Rackline is placing a strong emphasis on sustainability. This includes a focus on utilising recycled metals and an ambitious goal of recycling 99.99% of waste paint through an advanced filtering facility.
Tom, who is tasked with driving Rackline’s environmental initiatives, said: “There’s a clear net-zero goal in place for businesses to achieve, and this policy helps us cement our position as an eco-friendly manufacturer.
“Our customers will benefit from the knowledge that our products will be developed and installed with the planet in mind.”
In addition to its environmental focus, Rackline’s CSR policy places the well-being of its employees at the centre of its initiatives. The company is also actively engaged with local communities, participating in volunteering efforts and supporting local organisations.
Tom added: “By updating our Corporate Social Responsibility Policy, we are future-proofing the business and ensuring that we play our part in supporting the environment.
“It also allows us to actively engage with and continue to support our employees. We’re pleased to be making these changes and hope to make a positive impact on both our staff and customers.”
