Five new business advisors have been appointed to support ambitious entrepreneurs across the county.
Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council, Staffordshire Moorlands District Council, Cannock Chase Council, Tamworth Borough Council and South Staffordshire Council have joined forces with the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Growth Hub to provide expert help to support SMEs in the local areas.
Experienced business coaches Rachel Till, Sandra Nixon, Richard Wood, Jayne Egerton and Richard Carty will be taking up the roles, which are supported by the Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).
Rachel has been appointed to carry out a contract for the delivery of work across Newcastle-under-Lyme and Sandra will be supporting businesses in the Staffordshire Moorlands area.
Richard Carty will be working across the Cannock Chase area, Jayne will be supporting businesses in Tamworth and Richard Wood will operate across South Staffordshire.
Sarah Simpson, Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Growth Hub spokesperson, said: “The appointments are one of a series of initiatives and programmes delivered through the UKSPF, which have been developed to help businesses to thrive.
“By joining forces with the five local authorities we have been able to create a window of opportunity for businesses in the local areas to access this additional expert support.”
