Holiday let owners are being offered free legionella safety advice as they prepare to usher in the 2024 season.

Owners and managers of holiday parks, lodges, and caravans are being urged to sign up for a webinar from two leading safety experts.

The “Safe Water Saves Lives” online session on March 1 will give owners clear guidance on their obligations.

It will outline the actions necessary for compliance with the law in ensuring the safety of guests and staff.

The webinar will be hosted by safety company leaders Darren Bedson, Managing Director of Stoke-on-Trent based BPA Safety and Lizzie Ward, Managing Director at SAS Water in Leek.

The duo previously held a successful webinar on workplace safety duties which attracted an audience of more than 30 business professionals.

Lizzie, pictured above, said: “Many holiday park and holiday let owners will currently be looking to welcome holidaymakers for the first time in 2024 and it is vital that they open facilities in as safe a manner as possible.

“They must comply with the law on the control of legionella alongside other Health and Safety regulations.

“By combining my knowledge with that of Darren’s, we can arm holiday let owners with the knowledge they need to both keep on the right side of the law and, most importantly, keep people as safe as possible.”

The one-hour online event takes place at 1pm on March 1.
