Family-run Willshee’s has launched a national brokering service as the waste and recycling company looks to expand across the UK.

Operating across the UK and Northern Ireland, the new service includes identifying suitable providers for all waste and recycling solutions.

The Burton upon Trent-based firm has appointed Stacey Nixon as supply chain manager to head up the new division. Stacey has spent eight years in the waste industry, with a number of these years as supply chain manager.

Managing Director Dean Willshee said: “Extending the scope of the Willshee’s offer with our new brokering service is a natural evolution for us, especially as we are receiving an increasing number of tender requests from larger organisations.

“As one of the Midlands’ leading waste and recycling businesses, we are excited about the opportunities this new division will bring to the wider group and our customers, enabling us to grow further and extend our services nationwide.”

Willshee’s has its head office and two depots in Burton as well as a multi-million-pound Materials Recycling Facility in Swadlincote, in Derbyshire.
