Commercial vehicle bodywork manufacturer Don-Bur has completed a new batch of van trailers for a repeat customer of 20 years.
The order from tyre wholesaler Bond International involved a new batch of six full print livery box van trailers designed to carry tyres and has been described as a “significant” one in terms of livery production.
The trailers feature re-enforced internal body walls to prevent bowing under heavy loads and a step-frame chassis for easy loading and unloading.
They are also equipped with aerodynamic side skirts to enhance fuel efficiency.
Vibrant livery on the trailers has been produced by Don-Bur’s in-house graphics division Sapphire Graphics, where staff put to use a £750,000 EFI UV printer, an investment Daily Focus reported on last year.
A Don-Bur spokesperson said: “This 2024 order signifies the continuation of a successful partnership between Don-Bur and Bond International, underlining Don-Bur’s commitment to delivering top-tier commercial vehicle solutions tailored to the specific needs of their clients.”
Simon Ewbank, Commercial Director at Bond International, said: “We are thrilled with the quality and attention to detail that Don-Bur has provided once again.
“The new livery not only enhances our brand’s visibility but also reflects the reliability and innovation we strive for in our operations.”
