Financial advice firm moves to new premises after boom in business

1 min read

A financial advice firm, which has increased its business by more than 50 per cent in the last 12 months, has moved to new premises in Newcastle-under-Lyme – and is set to hold two open days to launch its new home.

Minerva Financial Solutions, which was founded in February 2020 by Nicola Conway, has relocated to recently renovated premises in Albert Street.

They will be throwing open the doors on November 20 and 21 to welcome clients and friends to the Albion House office, whose building is shared with business communications specialists Albion

The move follows the expansion of the company, which has seen practice manager Jane Johnson and paraplanner Sharon Parkinson join the team.

Daily Focus previously reported that Minerva had invested in document management platform DocPortal to enhance its client experience.

Founder Nicola Conway said: “We are really pleased with the new premises. The offices are very modern and completed to a high standard with plenty of parking available for our clients.

“In the last 12 months our team has grown, along with our client base, so we really needed more space.”

The move has also seen an increase in new clients being welcomed to Minerva, who mainly serve Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme and the Staffordshire Moorlands, but are now reaching further afield into areas such as Cheshire, Shropshire, Derbyshire, Sussex and Carlisle.

An increase in other small businesses seeking support with retirement planning along with pensions has also added to the growth.

The team plan to introduce educational sessions for first time buyers, as well as people wanting to learn more about equity release, later life planning and the value of retirement planning. They are also planning to launch monthly ladies networking sessions.

Nicola added: “From going back to when I started the business – which was during the Covid pandemic – it is exciting to be moving forward with the next chapter.

“The refurbishment which has taken place with the new offices at Albion is outstanding. There is a lovely feel about the place and we are absolutely thrilled to be here.”

Minerva Financial Solutions is an appointed representative of St James Wealth Management.
