A popular restaurant, wedding and events venue has secured £2.75 million of funding to help it to continue to grow and evolve.
Aston Marina has received backing from Lloyds which it says will support the ongoing development of sustainable infrastructure including a solar energy project.
Daily Focus has previously reported that the venue near Stone is looking to expand with planning permission being sought for a 35-bedroom hotel and has recently launched a wide beam boat offering luxury accommodation.
There is also a project ongoing to install a 300kVA solar array on the site set to generate sufficient energy to power its day-to-day operations.
Aston Marina Director Helen Clayton said: “We are incredibly proud of how far Aston Marina has come since its inception.
“Lloyds’ support is enabling us to future-proof our business, invest in sustainable solutions, and offer a truly unique experience to our visitors.”
Andy Matthews, Relationship Director at Lloyds, said: “Aston Marina exemplifies the kind of innovative and forward-thinking business we are proud to support.
“Their dedication to sustainability and commitment to growth align with our values, and we look forward to seeing them thrive in the years to come.”
