Businesses across Staffordshire will be given practical advice to help protect themselves from a new wave of AI-driven cybercrime at the bet365 Stadium on Friday morning.
Detective Inspector Michelle Ohren, Director of the West Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre and a senior leader with West Midlands Police, will deliver an engaging talk at Staffordshire Chambers’ Big Business Breakfast event, focused on how criminals are using artificial intelligence to target businesses, and the steps organisations can take to stay safe.
Michelle will share free, government-backed guidance that businesses of all sizes can act on immediately to strengthen their defences and ensure their teams use AI responsibly.
Joining Michelle at the event is Rob Dixon, AI Strategist and CEO of Dixon Humphreys, and Matthew Byrom, Head of Business Excellence at Siemens GB&I.
Together, they will explore how businesses can harness AI for innovation, speeding up processes and helping businesses to find new opportunities.
Rachel Laver, Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce CEO, said: “Our local businesses are embracing digital tools and AI at a rapid pace, but so are cybercriminals.
“This event will give firms the insight and confidence to protect themselves and thrive in this changing landscape.”
The Big Business Breakfast includes a networking breakfast and is open to all businesses.
A limited number of final tickets are still available via the Staffordshire Chambers website.
