Through the Business Energy Advice Service (BEAS), small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Stoke and Staffordshire can access a free professional audit to identify opportunities for savings.

Even better, eligible businesses can apply for funding of up to £100,000 to put the recommended technologies into place — supporting upgrades that cut costs and carbon emissions.

Heritage Charity Benefits from Energy Upgrade

Re-Form Heritage, a local charity, recently tapped into BEAS support to modernise their heating system.

Emily Webster, Development and Grant Manager, said: “The service and support we’ve received have been exceptional, enabling us to achieve this fantastic result for a charity that focuses not only on environmental goals but also on helping us save on our energy bills.

“Thank you again for supporting this project.”

The installation of modern gas boilers is expected to deliver savings of 8,540 kWh per year, reducing carbon emissions by 1.56 tonnes and cutting bills by around £600 annually.
