Indurent has secured planning permission for a two-phase development expected to create approximately 880 jobs near Stafford.
The company, which develops, owns and operates industrial and logistics space, has been given the green light for a 655,000 sq ft industrial logistics development located adjacent to J13 of the M6 on land north of Dunston.
The scheme forms part of a wider £800 million investment in Staffordshire, where Indurent is delivering or promoting around six million sq ft of space.
Construction is planned to start in 2028.
Josh Coldicott, Senior Planning Manager at Indurent, said: “This development marks a major step in our commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable logistics space in key UK regions.
“It will create hundreds of jobs, boost Staffordshire’s local economy, and provide modern, environmentally responsible facilities for our customers.
“The scale, connectivity and broader benefits of the project make it ideally placed to meet the evolving needs of occupiers.”
Planning documents state the intention of six units on the site – four mid-size and two larger ones.
Indurent has said all the units will be delivered to BREEM ‘Excellent’ standards.
The planning application also covered elements including site clearance/remedial and engineering works, the creation of an internal transport network and landscape planting.
Indurent was launched in July 2024 following the integration of Industrials REIT and St Modwen Logistics’ portfolio of assets.
