A commercial insurance broker has tripled its office space after doubling turnover in a year of rapid growth.
NBe Brokers has relocated from The Mount in Basford to Osprey House in Newcastle-under-Lyme, taking one floor of the building previously occupied by Givenergy, which entered administration in April.
Founded by Phil Warburton and Shaun Hollins, NBe Brokers started trading in March 2023 and now employees 25 people following its latest recruitment drive.
Latest company accounts cover the 12 months to April 2025 and show a 119% jump in turnover from £702,177 to £1.54 million.
The firm, which is celebrating its third anniversary, attributes its growth to long-term relationships with clients and insurers, alongside high levels of customer retention.
The move gives NBe Brokers room to expand further, with two additional floors at Osprey House currently vacant.
Phil said: “When myself and Shaun decided to start the business, we never in our wildest dreams imagined the growth that we have achieved.
“It is testament to our staff that we have been able to build and maintain a large client base whilst maintaining an excellent level of service and I am extremely proud of our journey so far.”
He added: “The new office space has trebled our current capacity but also has further space for us to grow into. We strategically chose this building for that reason as we keep striving for more. The last 12 to 18 months have laid some solid foundations, and we are keen to build on them.”
The company’s growth has enabled it to expand its support for sports clubs and charities including Stoke City Football Club, Dougie Mac and local grassroots causes.
Shaun said: “Myself, Phil and all our team are Staffordshire born with the majority being raised in Stoke-on-Trent.
“Although we operate nationally, our heart is in this great city, and we want to give back where we can. We feel privileged to be creating local jobs and proud to be able to support the local community.”
