Businesses are invited to join in the celebrations as North Staffs Mind marks its 50th anniversary with a special Gala Dinner.
North Staffs and Cheshire Mind is celebrating the milestone at Crewe Hall on Saturday, 12 September where supporters, local businesses and members of the community will be brought together for an evening of dinner, live music and entertainment.
It is one of many activities taking place to mark five decades of North Staffs Mind’s work supporting mental health and wellbeing across Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire.
Following the successful merger with Mid Cheshire Mind, North Staffs Mind became North Staffs and Cheshire Mind in 2024, bringing the organisations together as one charity. Today, North Staffs and Cheshire Mind provides mental health and wellbeing support across North Staffordshire and Cheshire, combining the expertise and experience of both organisations.
The charity now employs more than 80 people and, in its last financial year, provided services and support to more than 11,000 individuals.
The 50th Anniversary Gala Dinner will feature a three-course dinner and an evening of entertainment, including live music from nationally renowned band, The Wishlist.
Tickets are available for businesses and individuals, and sponsorship opportunities are still available for businesses that would like to provide additional support to the event and the ongoing work of North Staffs and Cheshire Mind.
Sponsorship is an opportunity for businesses to demonstrate their commitment to mental health and wellbeing in the local community while helping the charity continue to support individuals, families and communities across the region.
The evening will also recognise the staff, volunteers, supporters and communities who have contributed to North Staffs Mind’s work over the past 50 years, while looking ahead to the future of North Staffs and Cheshire Mind.
