A digital forensics firm has begun a major refurbishment and expansion project totalling more than £100,000 at its Stoke-on-Trent headquarters.

Work is taking place to convert and modernise an additional 3,600 sq ft of office space at SYTECH’s Cauldon Locks site with at least 20 new jobs expected to be created in the company’s next phase of growth.

Once complete, the refurbished area will feature five individual offices, a new reception area, a kitchen and welfare space and a redesigned training room.

The expansion will enable SYTECH to centralise and grow its administration and support teams, supporting operational efficiency and organisational development.

The firm also says that freeing up existing space within its facilities will allow for the expansion of its laboratory and technical service areas.

Managing Director Daren Greener said: “This investment is a clear signal of our commitment to the Stoke-on-Trent area and our confidence in the continued growth of the digital forensics, cybersecurity and consultancy sectors.

“By expanding our office space and modernising our facilities, we’re creating a more dynamic environment for our teams and paving the way for the recruitment of new talent that will help drive the business forward.”

SYTECH specialises in forensic investigation including digital device analysis, telecommunications, data recovery, and incident response, along with leading cyber security solutions.
