A 135-bedroom hotel in Stoke-on-Trent’s city centre has gone up for sale for offers over £3.75 million.
The Best Western Stoke City Centre Hotel, formerly the Quality Hotel, is being marketed by Enterprise Hotels & Hospitality on behalf of Prince Hotels.
The Trinity Street venue is available individually, but is also being offered in a package from £6.5 million with the Quality Hotel Coventry.
Gavin Wright, founder of Enterprise Hotels & Hospitality, said: “We are delighted to have been appointed to offer the freehold interests in both hotels via asset sales, either together as a package or as individual purchases.
“The Best Western Stoke City Centre Hotel is a substantial, centrally located property with 135 en suite bedrooms, extensive public areas and leisure facilities, plus significant onsite parking.
“This is a rare opportunity to acquire a hotel in a prominent Midlands location, close to Alton Towers, one of the UK’s most popular theme parks, and around 45 miles equidistant between Manchester and Birmingham.”
The Best Western Stoke City Centre Hotel has been owned by Prince Hotels since 2000 and currently operates under a Best Western franchise agreement.
It has a restaurant, two bars, lounges and multiple guest seating zones, with leisure facilities including an indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and gym.
It also boasts 11 flexible meeting and conference rooms for between 15 and 250 delegates, plus parking for up to 150 vehicles on a plot of approximately 1.6-acres.
Gavin said options for both hotels include continuing existing franchises, rebranding under alternative franchises, or potential alternative uses, subject to gaining the relevant planning permissions.
He added: “This flexibility provides meaningful scope for repositioning, brand enhancement, and value optimisation.”
