Staffordshire Chambers reveals International Trade Award finalists for 2026 Business Awards

Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce has revealed the finalists for the International Trade Award at the 2026 Business Awards.

Sponsored by Welfare Vans4less, the award recognises companies that excel in international trade, whether through exporting products or services to overseas markets, operating successful import-led models, or building resilient global supply chains that deliver clear benefit to Staffordshire.

Now in its 11th year, the Staffordshire Chambers Business Awards is the largest business awards programme in the region. Winners will be crowned at a gala awards ceremony at Uttoxeter Racecourse on Thursday 9 July 2026.

The four finalists are:

Trentham Foods – Founded as a one-man operation in 2006, Trentham Foods has grown into a major international meat and poultry supply chain specialist sourcing from more than 20 countries. Turnover rose by more than 35% between 2024 and 2025, with recent expansion into Australia and New Zealand adding further momentum. Find out more, here.

Qualsurv Group – Operating from Stoke-on-Trent, Qualsurv has grown from a single consultant in 2019 into a multidisciplinary team supporting more than 30 offshore wind projects worldwide with a combined construction value exceeding £65 billion, alongside commercial advisory work on Saudi Arabia’s Diriyah Gate development. EffecTech – A Staffordshire-based specialist in gas measurement products and services, EffecTech supplies LNG terminals, offshore platforms and power stations in more than 60 countries, with overseas sales accounting for almost 40% of annual revenue. Since joining The Linde Group in 2022, its international reach has continued to expand. Find out more, here.

AVD Fire Limited – Developer of the world-first Aqueous Vermiculite Dispersion fire safety technology, AVD Fire now sells in 42 countries with exports accounting for 88% of turnover. Sales have grown 67% over two years, with clients including the Dubai Metro, Dubai International Airport and Rheinmetall Defence. Find out more, here.
