Fun farm celebrates with new summer events and half-term attractions

The National Forest Adventure Farm, in Tatenhill, Burton, which attracts over 175,000 visitors a year, is marking its 15th anniversary with a fun-filled half term celebration.

With plans to introduce two new Farm Nights in August with live music, wildflower picking and street food stalls as well as a new Big Farm Fundraiser on Sunday 5th July and increased summer capacity the site is now expecting 2026 to be one of its biggest years yet.

Ivor Robinson, who owns the 40-acre farm park with his brother Tom, said: “When we first opened the National Forest Adventure Farm the aim was always to create a space where families could get outdoors and enjoy quality time together.

“Since then, we have continued to grow and add new attractions year on year and now have a whole host of themed events. We are proud to help thousands of families to explore and make memories together.”

The Robinson family started to diversify in 2004 with the first ever maize maze. In 2011 they converted agricultural barns to create the Farmhouse Restaurant, soft play area and animal barns.

Today the park contains 40 acres of open space including an animal barn with goats, chickens, pigs, horses, cows, rabbits and guinea pigs, pedal Go-Karts, frisbee golf, Jurassic Canyon sand and fossil dig, tractor rides, JCB Big Dig Zone, giant jumping pillows, assault course as well as the UK’s longest mega slide providing 200ft of outdoor fun.
