Talbots Law has moved into a new office in Stoke-on-Trent as it looks to expand its presence across Staffordshire and the wider Midlands.
The UK’s largest employee-owned law firm moves into 8,000 sq ft first-floor premises at East Court, on Campbell Road in Stoke, this week, just 18 months after entering the county through the acquisition of Tinsdills Solicitors.
The new office will be a regional base for 50 to 60 permanent members of staff, as well as acting as a central hub connecting colleagues across the wider business.
Talbots Law has signed a 10-year lease on the premises.
The investment is intended to provide additional capacity for the firm’s growth plans, including future recruitment and the expansion of its legal services across Staffordshire.
The Kidderminster-based company, established in 1828, is on track to achieve turnover of around £48 million this financial year and is working towards a £50 turnover target.
Chief Executive Dave Hodgetts said: “This investment is about much more than a new office. It reflects our confidence in Staffordshire, our commitment to the clients and communities we serve and our ambition for the future.
“Our new Stoke-on-Trent office will be a full-service regional hub, bringing together expertise from across the firm to support individuals, families and businesses with the high-quality legal advice tailored to their needs.
“As an employee-owned business, we’re proud to be investing in both our people and the region. The new office provides a strong platform for continued expansion, allowing us to further strengthen our legal expertise, create new career opportunities and meet the growing demand for our services across Staffordshire and the wider Midlands.”
Talbots Law employs more than 600 people across 19 offices.
