Markets and festivals plan to boost town centre trade

Traders are hoping a new schedule of events will help to boost business in Stone’s town centre. 

Stone Sunday Series will see special festivals and markets held on High Street once a month from April through to the end of the year. 

The initiative has been brought together by Stone Traders’ Group and the team behind Stone Food and Drink Festival

The full line up is: 

Sunday 16 April – Spring Awakening Market 

Sunday 21 May – Four Wheel Fest (a display of cars, tractors, buses and other vehicles) 

Sunday 18 June – Cheese and Wine Festival 

Saturday 15 July – Food and Drink Festival Edition Town Market 

Sunday 20 August – Family Dance Festival 

Sunday 17 September – Eco Friendly and Sustainability Market 

Sunday 15 October – Sausage and Cider Festival 

Sunday 19 November and Sunday 10 December – Christmas markets 

All the events will be free to enter and run from 10am until 3pm, apart from the one in July which will start at 9am.
