More designer names coming to North Staffordshire shopping centre as Terraces upgrades its store

Designer store Terraces has moved into a bigger and better unit within a North Staffordshire shopping centre boasting new brands and an expanded range of clothing.

The shop, which has been open at Affinity Staffordshire, in Talke, for six years, has swapped locations in the shopping centre to the unit which was vacated by H&M in January.

Its new base opened on Saturday with British Middleweight Boxing Champion Nathan Heaney on hand to meet and greet fans.

The move has created five jobs and comes on the back of a sustained period of growth which has seen Terraces invest in a bigger warehouse in Staffordshire.

New brands Ellesse, Napapijri, Farah and Ma Strum will join favourites such as Barbour and Weekend Offender

And One True Saxon is set to join soon.

The new shop will also stock an extended range of kidswear including Lyle & Scott, Weekend Offender, Ellesse and Peaceful Hooligan

Dan Jones, Manager of the Affinity Staffordshire store, said: “With a bit more space, we have been able to extend the number of brands we have on offer at the new shop and increase the ranges we have.

“January was the third best month in the company’s history for online sale – which is amazing considering it is usually a quiet month for spending – and the company is growing massively each quarter.

“We’re really excited about the new shop and the new brands coming in.”

As well as managing the store, Dan has his own clothing brand called Casual Divide Clothing, which he set up during the Covid-19 pandemic.

For the first time, a small collection of his clothing will be sold within Terraces.

Dan added: “There are three t-shirts and two sets of swimshorts in the collection at Terraces and they are exclusive to the shop.

“The brand is only three years old but it is growing well, with online orders up 40 per cent last year on the year before.”

Terraces has its flagship store in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, and other branches in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Stafford and Affinity Lancashire, in Fleetwood.
