Twelve Staffordshire businesses have been recognised for their culinary excellence by the 2023/24 Good Food Awards.
A third of the Staffordshire winners came from Burton upon Trent, with the accolades celebrating a mixture of Indian cuisine, fish and chips and traditional English tea room dishes.
The national awards scheme is split into five categories with two different accolades up for grabs to those who excel in food quality, service and value. Blue Ribbon awards celebrate a win, whilst Gold Seals are given to holders who have achieved the award for more than three consecutive years.
Amongst those celebrating continued success is No26 Waterside Restaurant, at Aston Marina, in Stone, which has been recognised for a fifth consecutive year.
A spokesman said: “What makes these awards especially important to the whole team is that they are based on nominations and votes from our customers.
“So a huge thank you to everyone who has voted for us – it’s an honour to again be recognised alongside some of the best independent restaurants in the country as we continue our quest for culinary excellence.”
