Keele Business School has been named Higher Education Provider of the Year at the Midlands Education Awards 2026.

The award recognises higher education providers that combine academic excellence with widening participation. Keele University as a whole and the University of Staffordshire were also shortlisted in the category.

Keele Business School said the award reflected its commitment to widening participation, social responsibility, and impact on communities and the economy through teaching, research and partnerships.

Dr Scott Bambrick, Director of Keele Business School, said: “At Keele Business School, we have a strong sense of purpose. We are committed to inspiring and preparing future leaders to act with social responsibility, while contributing knowledge, opportunities, and expertise that support positive societal impact and economic growth in our region and beyond.

“We are proud that our ambitions and achievements continue to gain recognition on a regional, national, and international stage.”

The Midlands Education Awards celebrate educators, leaders, institutions and organisations making a difference through education across the region.
