The Lewis Partnership launches its own gin to toast 35 years in business

1 min read

Staffordshire-based The Lewis Partnership has released its own gin to celebrate being in business for 35 years this month.

The family-run business, now in its third generation, was founded in June 1988 when the Lewis family decided to convert the family farm house into a village pub – The Moat House at Acton Trussell.

Over the last three and a half decades the business has seen many changes. The Moat House, pictured below, has been extended to now boast a 41-bedroom hotel, wedding venue and conference facilities and the business has grown to include The Dog and Doublet in Sandon and The Red Lion in Bradley.

To celebrate this milestone, The Lewis Partnership have teamed up with local distillery Sixtowns based at the World of Wedgwood to create its very own limited-edition gin.

LP 35 is described as a classic London Dry with notes of juniper, citrus, soft elderflower and warm spice.

Emily Lewis, Operations Director of The Lewis Partnership, says “We’re delighted to be celebrating this huge milestone in our company’s history. After a tough few years with the pandemic, it’s great to have something positive to shout about.

“We’re excited to be working with Sixtowns on this limited edition gin. It’s always nice to be able to collaborate with such a fantastic local producer. We’re thrilled to be launching LP 35 and can’t wait for everyone to try it.”
