A new branch manager has taken the reins at Staffordshire University’s specialist recruitment agency.
Lizzy Lloyd has been appointed to the role at Unitemps following five years with the organisation as a recruitment consultant and a business engagement officer.
Unitemps works to connect businesses from across Staffordshire, Shropshire and Cheshire with students and graduates from the university, representing a talent pool of over 20,000 people at any one time.
All types of roles are covered from temporary positions to internships, placements and permanent posts.
Lizzy, who heads a team of 11 people, said: “I am looking forward to engaging with as many businesses as possible to ensure we find jobs for our students and graduates.
“At the same time, I will be helping my team with their personal goals and making sure they enjoy where they work.”
She added: “We are quite niche in what we do, but it is great working with all the different schools and faculties across the university.”
