‘Centre of excellence’ for construction industry opens after seven-figure investment

A new trade counter – dubbed a ‘centre of excellence’ for the construction industry – has opened in Stoke-on-Trent following a seven-figure investment.

Benx Hub has moved to Scotia Road Business Park in Tunstall from its previous location on Brookhouse Road in Chesterton, where it operated as SPS Envirowall. A new training academy is also set to launch at the Tunstall site later this year.

The rebranded branch, which aims to provide both products and technical support, is part of a wider investment by Benx in the region and is designed as a one-stop shop for builders, renderers, cladding contractors and other construction professionals. The site stocks a full range of external wall insulation systems, cladding, insulation and general building materials.

The company’s head office is based in Stoke town centre, with a production facility and facades team at Parkhouse Industrial Estate, and four other distribution locations across the UK.

Chris Plant, Deputy Chief Executive of Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce, cut the ribbon to open the hub at a launch event. To mark the launch, Benx Hub is offering several promotions, including discounts, giveaways and branded merchandise.

Branch Manager Matt Cartwright said: “We’re proud to unveil Benx Hub – not just as a trade counter, but as a centre of excellence for the local construction community.

“This investment strengthens our roots in Staffordshire, and we’re here to deliver real value through tailored solutions, technical expertise, and a friendly, knowledgeable team.”
