Stoke City Football Club’s new outdoor fanzone is to host a series of summer events this year – with two popular bands lined up for concerts.
Boyzlife, fronted by Westlife’s Brian McFadden and Boyzone’s Keith Duffy, will be performing a setlist comprising of hits from both bands at the Boothen Quarter on Friday, 23 May.
Noughties Indie rock trailblazers The Twang, the whose debut album in 2007 shot to number three in the UK charts and who have been hailed as a must see live act ever since, will then appear at the venue on Saturday, 21 June.
And the football club has said announcements regarding additional events will follow during the weeks ahead.
A spokesperson said: “A primarily standing venue situated adjacent to the Boothen End and Ricardo’s sports bar at the bet365 Stadium, the Boothen Quarter boasts a permanent stage and giant screen and is renowned among Stoke City fans for the quality and ingenuity of its street food offering.
“When put to its primary use on a matchday, the facility is the envy of many clubs throughout the Premier League and EFL pyramid.
“The venue is heading into its debut summer, having been opened in August 2024, with the festival of entertainment set to include concerts, live football screenings, open air cinema and much more.”

The £1.5 million fan zone, a product of two years of design, planning and construction, is designed to host up to 1,500 fans and features a 41.5m² LED screen, a stage for live performances, various food and drink vendors, covered seating areas and modern restrooms.
The investment forms part of Stoke City’s broader £30 million five-year development initiative, which includes upgrades to both the bet365 Stadium and the Clayton Wood training ground.
Tickets for both concerts are on sale now.
Both bands will be supported by acts local to the Stoke-on-Trent area; John Dhali and a 90s/00s set from DJ Lauren May preceding Boyzlife and Lissy Taylor and Foarn opening the show for the Twang.
