A motor vehicle firm which has made a recent ‘significant’ investment into a new software system and website is celebrating picking up a global award.
CVM World, which manufactures minibuses and other vehicles, has received an accreditation from Stellantis, Europe’s second largest vehicle manufacturer.
It comes following two recent projects which includes more than £20,000 being invested in a new website for Minibus World, which is part of Knypersley-based CVM World, which is due to launch next month.
The website will combine detailed vehicle search functionality alongside information to help customers choose the right minibus.
A ‘significant’ amount of money has also been invested into a new enterprise, resource and planning (ERP) system – scheduled to be operational in the last quarter of this year – to help coordinate growth aspirations by integrating sales, purchasing, manufacturing and supply chain.
Managing Director Paul Connolly said: “We have been investing heavily in our manufacturing, management and processes, building arguably the UK’s best minibuses.
“The recognition from Stellantis is a boost for the team and further endorsement of our vehicles.”
The Pro-One Recommended Product Award is the highest level of approval from Stellantis and cannot be applied for.
Family-owned CVM World, based in Knypersley, has built more than 5,000 vehicles since 2007.
