Ceramics industry leaders from around the UK are set to gather in Stoke-on-Trent for a conference exploring decarbonisation and sustainable manufacturing practices.
The Delivering Net Zero conference, organised by Ceramics UK, will take place on Tuesday, 17 June, in the Catalyst Building at the University of Staffordshire.
It aims to bring together manufacturers, researchers, policymakers and suppliers to discuss the latest developments and innovations in reducing carbon emissions within the ceramics industry.
Attendees will have the opportunity to gain insights into industry-leading decarbonisation projects, learn about emerging technologies and understand the evolving regulatory landscape.
The conference will feature a series of presentations and panel discussions, including a governmental perspective on strategies shaping the future of the ceramics sector and expert-led talks on energy network developments impacting ceramics manufacturing and sustainability goals.
The event also provides a platform for networking among industry peers and experts, fostering collaboration towards achieving a low-carbon future for the UK ceramics industry.
The host will be analyst, writer and broadcaster Sepi Golzari-Munro, with speakers including Lucideon’s Richard Goodhead, Hydrogen UK chief executive Clare Jackson and British Glass chief executive Dave Dalton.
A spokesperson for Ceramics UK said: “Our annual Delivering Net Zero conference is a pivotal event for the UK ceramic industry, bringing together key stakeholders to explore and discuss the latest developments, innovations, and policy initiatives crucial to achieving a low-carbon future.”
