Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce has revealed the finalists for the International Trade Award at the 2025 Business Awards, with Indurent proudly sponsoring the category. This prestigious award recognises Staffordshire-based businesses that have demonstrated exceptional export success, global market expansion, and innovation in international trade.
The four outstanding finalists are:
Dupre Minerals
Dupre Minerals has earned global recognition for its groundbreaking Aqueous Vermiculite Dispersion (AVD) fire extinguishing agent—developed in Staffordshire to tackle the growing threat of lithium-ion battery fires. Now exported to over 50 countries, AVD is setting international standards for fire safety across industries including electric vehicles, energy storage, and aviation. Recent investment in a new £3 million facility in Talke has further boosted local jobs and global production capabilities.
Barkers Engineering
A global leader in high-security fencing, Barkers Engineering exports to more than 40 countries across six continents. With installations protecting critical infrastructure such as airports, data centres, and energy sites, Barkers’ international growth is underpinned by strategic partnerships, multilingual support, and compliance with global security standards.
Reliance Medical
As the UK’s foremost manufacturer of first aid and trauma care products, Reliance Medical has experienced rapid global growth, now distributing to over 40 countries and operating offices in Hungary, Australia, and New Zealand. Its innovations, including trauma kits, 20,000 AEDs supplied across the UK, and the award-winning Igloo Hypothermia Blanket, have cemented its international reputation.
EM Resolutions
Based at Keele Science and Innovation Park, EM Resolutions specialises in electron microscopy accessories, supplying research institutions and distributors in 20 countries across four continents. With nearly 70% of sales driven by exports, the company’s precision-engineered products support vital scientific research in cancer, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and environmental science.
The winners will be revealed at a gala awards evening at Uttoxeter Racecourse on 10th July 2025.
