Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce is proud to reveal the finalists for the prestigious Manufacturer of the Year category at the 2025 Business Awards. Sponsored by DJH, this award celebrates manufacturing excellence across design, production, innovation, and sustainability. The winners will be announced at an exclusive Gala Awards Dinner, taking place at Uttoxeter Racecourse on 10th July 2025.
This year’s shortlist showcases some of Staffordshire’s most dynamic and innovative manufacturers:
Broxap Ltd
Broxap, a family-owned manufacturing leader based in Staffordshire, has been named a finalist for its exceptional performance across a diverse product range that includes street furniture, shelters, canopies, outdoor gyms, and playground equipment. With a legacy spanning nearly 80 years, Broxap employs over 250 people and supplies iconic UK sites such as Buckingham Palace, Wimbledon, and Euston Station.
The company’s multi-million-pound Project Transform has modernised its production capabilities with fibre laser cutting and automated powder coating systems—boosting efficiency while reducing environmental impact. Aiming for carbon neutrality by 2050, Broxap has already achieved Zero Waste to Landfill and reduced plastic use by 25 tonnes annually. These achievements, coupled with their eco-friendly product innovations, earned them the 2023 Environmental Practices Award at the Scotland Excel Awards.
