Winners at this year’s Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce Business Awards will take home a limited-edition plate thanks to one of the county’s most iconic manufacturers.
To celebrate a decade of the business awards, Staffordshire Chambers has partnered with Longton-based Duchess China to produce a bespoke plate for all 15 category winners.
The plate pays tribute to the region’s rich ceramic heritage while commemorating the tenth anniversary of the county’s most prestigious celebration of enterprise.
Rachel Laver, Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce CEO, said: “As we mark ten years of celebrating Staffordshire’s incredible business talent, it felt right to honour our winners with something truly special.
“The Duchess China plate is a beautiful symbol of excellence and local pride.”
Founded in 1888, Duchess China has been producing fine bone china in the heart of the Potteries for over 130 years, earning an international reputation for quality and craftsmanship.
Each plate will be handcrafted using traditional methods at Duchess China’s Longton factory, ensuring every award is as unique as the business it honours.
The exclusive design features elegant gold detailing, creating a timeless keepsake for this year’s winners.

Rachel added: “ We are proud to champion local craftsmanship while recognising the innovation, resilience, and success of our business community.
“I am really looking forward to what will be an unforgettable milestone for local businesses.”
This year’s ceremony, set to take place at the Final Furlong Marquee at Uttoxeter Racecourse, promises the biggest audience yet.
A full write-up of award winners will feature in Focus on Friday on Friday on 11 July, the morning after the gala awards ceremony.
