A record-breaking number of delegates flocked to Uttoxeter Racecourse yesterday for the return of Let’s Do Business.
The annual expo, organised by Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce, attracted more than 1,000 local businesses who enjoyed a combination of networking and keynote presentations.
Leading Staffordshire entrepreneur Mo Chaudry kicked off the day with a keynote on high performance and business success, sharing behind-the-scenes insights into his sale of Waterworld – a story exclusively broken by Daily Focus earlier this year.
He was followed by Meg Bowyer, former Stoke City Women captain and Criminal Justice advocate, and Nathan “Hitman” Heaney, Stoke-on-Trent’s first British middleweight champion, who both shared insights into leadership and resilience in the sporting arena.

Chris Plant, Interim CEO of Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce, said: “We are absolutely thrilled with the response to this year’s event. To see so many businesses from across Staffordshire and beyond coming together under one roof demonstrates the strength and collaborative spirit of our business community.
“A huge thank you to everyone who attended, exhibited or supported the event, and of course to our sponsors, who make it all possible: headline sponsors, TopCashback, as well as Michelin, Lexus, amb Insurance Services Ltd, Pinkstones MG, BusinessLodge Stoke at Trent House and CVM World.”
The exhibition featured a diverse range of businesses from across the county, showcasing products, services and innovations spanning multiple sectors.
The Chambers also thanked all keynote speakers and panellists for contributing to a dynamic and insightful programme that inspired delegates to embrace new ideas and technologies shaping the future of business.
Let’s Do Business will return in 2026, promising to build on this year’s record-breaking success.
