Businesses invited to share their views as Q4 Quarterly Economic Survey goes live

1 min read

Local businesses across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire are being encouraged to share their experiences and outlook for the months ahead, as the latest Quarterly Economic Survey (QES) officially opens.

The QES, which runs until Friday 5th December, offers organisations of every size and sector the chance to report on business confidence, challenges and expectations going into the new year.

The findings are aggregated with data from Chambers of Commerce across the UK, forming one of the largest and most influential business surveys in the country.

Results from the QES are regularly reviewed by key decision-makers including the Bank of England, HM Treasury and a range of Government departments. The survey plays a central role in helping to inform current policy discussions and provides an evidence-based picture of the local economy.

Chris Plant, Interim CEO of Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce, said: “Now more than ever, it’s vital that businesses across Staffordshire share their experiences and outlooks.

“The Quarterly Economic Survey gives organisations of all sizes the chance to highlight the challenges they face, their confidence levels, and their expectations for the months ahead. By taking part, businesses ensure their voices are heard, helping to shape the support, policies, and decisions that directly impact the local economy.”

The Chambers are encouraging businesses to take part in the survey, whether operating as start-ups, sole traders, SMEs or larger employers. Input from a diverse range of organisations helps ensure local business needs are accurately represented.

The survey takes only a few minutes to complete and can be completed online or via a short paper form. Businesses can complete the Q4 QES online survey here.

Paper copies are also available from the Staffordshire Chambers office.
