Stafford-based The Inspirational Learning Group (TILG) has marked a major milestone, delivering over 750,000 learning interventions through its education and careers programmes across the UK.
The company, which employs 14 staff, develops national challenges, enterprise projects and wellbeing initiatives that help young people build skills for life beyond the classroom. Founded in Staffordshire, it now works with schools, employers and government departments nationwide.
TILG will launch the latest phase of its National Careers Challenge — run in partnership with NatWest Thrive — at the House of Lords later this month. The initiative is supported by NatWest, British Airways, Gymshark and Air Products, and aims to give pupils the chance to tackle real-world business challenges while developing teamwork and communication skills.
Alongside its enterprise work, the group’s Mental Health Awareness and teen suicide prevention resources have now been adopted by more than 500 schools. A recent national competition linked to the programme saw a local school win the opportunity to bring its idea, “Mindful Mondays”, to life.
TILG also delivers bespoke programmes for industry and sport, including recent projects with JCB, GE Vernova and Stoke City FC, helping young people explore future careers in engineering and beyond.
“We’re at a really exciting point,” said Ben Dyer, co-founder of The Inspirational Learning Group. “Our programmes are growing, new partners are coming on board, and we’re seeing more young people develop the skills they’ll need for the future. We’re incredibly proud to be a small team from Stafford making a difference to learners right across the UK and beyond.”
According to the organisation, its combined reach through challenges, workshops and resources has now exceeded 1.3 million learners nationwide.
