Rural businesses across Staffordshire are being offered free expert advice on how to improve customer experience and encourage repeat business at a workshop taking place next month.

Organised by Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce, the event will bring together business owners from across the county to explore how better customer insight can help businesses grow, improve their reputation and stand out in a competitive marketplace.

The workshop will take place at The Deer Park, Hoar Cross, on Thursday, 2 July, from 9.30am.

Customer experience specialist Ian Kelsall, of insight6, will explain why customer feedback and online reviews have become increasingly important for businesses and how they can be used to make informed decisions, improve services and attract new customers.

Tom Nadin, Head of Projects and Business Services at Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce said: “Staffordshire’s rural businesses are the backbone of our county’s economy, and the Success and Grow programme exists to give them practical support that makes a real difference. The Customer Experience Workshop is a genuine opportunity to hear from practitioners with real-world experience and come away with ideas you can apply straight away.”

Businesses taking part will also hear from George Lowe, of Lowes on Carter Street, who will share insights from his career in hospitality and the launch of his new venture, More Kudos, highlighting how a strong focus on customer experience can help businesses succeed.

The free event is aimed specifically at rural businesses and will provide practical tips that can be implemented immediately, as well as the opportunity to network with other business owners and share experiences.

Places are free but must be booked in advance. Tickets are available via Eventbrite.
