Businesses have until February 2 to take advantage of the Government’s Help to Grow: Digital scheme.
The scheme is being phased out after that date because of low uptake, but there’s still time to make a late application.
The Help to Grow: Digital programme is designed to give support and discounts to help SMEs find, buy and adopt digital technologies to improve productivity.
Vouchers worth up to £5,000 are on offer to cover up to 50 per cent of the costs of buying pre-approved software.
However with less than 1,000 vouchers redeemed so far by SMEs the Government has decided it cannot justify the continued cost of the scheme to the tax-payer.
