An industry-leading metal fabrication company has notched up a record-breaking million-pound sales month.
Grenville Engineering based in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, achieved the milestone in June – with company bosses putting it down to a dedicated and exceptional team and an “unwavering commitment to excellence”.
Sales Director Stuart Rawlinson said: “We are absolutely thrilled and proud to announce this record-breaking milestone.
“It is a testament to the dedication and perseverance of our team, as well as the trust and support of our customers and partners. We owe this success to their unwavering commitment and belief in our company.”
Established in 1984, Grenville has built a reputation as a renowned sheet metal fabrication company that specialises in laser cutting, metal punching, sheet metal forming, welding, grinding and finishing and assembly.
It has customers around the UK, including Staffordshire-based global digger makers JCB, as well as clients in engineering, the petrochemical sector, vehicle and trailer manufacturers and suppliers to the defence and aerospace sector.
The company is now confident it will go on to break its own record again – after new investments in robotic welding technology and a tube laser.
The tube laser is due to be installed in September this year and will allow Grenville to cut and shape tubes with precision and speed, complementing existing fiber laser technology, making it easier to create complex structures and designs.
The Robotic CoWelder will work alongside the current 22 welding stations and enable the company to automate some processes, leading to faster production times, increased efficiency and consistently high welding quality.
Stuart said: “The investments in the new tube laser and robotic CoWelder are an important move for Grenville Engineering.
“By staying up to date with the latest technology, we can remain competitive in the market and continually improve our services to customers, whilst reducing lead times and increasing our capacity.”
