A recent University of Staffordshire graduate has picked up a Royal Television Society (RTS) award for a film made as his final year project.

Keele University has been named the new education partner for the Chartered Institution of Railway Operators (CIRO), in a move aimed at strengthening training and career development across the UK rail industry. 

Entrepreneur Mo Chaudry and a Newcastle-under-Lyme training provider have joined forces on a scheme to inspire young people to reach their potential. 

A scheme which has helped more than 30,000 young people to develop business skills has returned with a new Dragons’ Den-style competition added. 

A testing and inspection specialist has launched a global learning and development initiative as part of a multi-million-pound investment in apprenticeships and employee skills.  

Businesses are being given the opportunity to recruit a part-funded graduate intern thanks to an initiative run by University of Staffordshire.

More than 6,300 apprentices have been trained over the past decade at the University of Staffordshire, as the institution prepares to host a major regional skills summit next month.
