AIE has established itself as a prominent figure in the engineering sector since its inception in 2012, particularly in developing Wankel rotary engines. The company has demonstrated a strong commitment to research and development, investing over £5 million since 2019 to advance the state of the art in rotary engine technology.
This commitment is set to continue, with plans to invest an additional £2 million in R&D in 2024 alone. This substantial investment underscores AIE’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of innovation and maintaining its leadership in the industry

The company has revolutionised engine design and manufacturing by leveraging advanced computer modelling techniques, including Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), combustion simulations, topology optimisation, and thermal analysis software.

The winner of the award will be announced at the highly-anticipated Gala Awards evening, taking place on Thursday, 4 July at the Doubletree by Hilton, Festival Park.
